The 20 cellos of the London Cello Orchestra made their second tour of South Korea in July 2017. They received standing ovations from full houses at the new Lotte Concert Hall in Seoul and the Seoul Arts Center. A further return tour will take place in June 2025.

The London Cello Orchestra is a concert ensemble arising from the renowned
London Sound series of recordings by Cala Records. Its 20 members are drawn from London’s finest solo, chamber and orchestral cellists, together with highly talented emerging players associated with the prestigious Arts Global Foundation.

Conducted by Geoffrey Simon, the London Cello Orchestra has performed for
H.M. The Queen and H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh in London. It has appeared in Geneva, New York, Philadelphia and throughout South Korea.
